Elevated Concepts to Guide Societies and People towards Social & Economic Synergy.
In a time when peoples of a democratic republic are feeling second class to corporate interests, legislators need to reevaluate their role to the constituents. It is obvious that many are puppets to corporate interests and not to the population as a whole.
Between top-tier investors and their supporting politicians, the control of the United States population and economy is being unduly influenced by corporate interests. Politicians need to evaluate who they represent and support, bringing it to the peoples, not corporate interests. They must set policies which allow local enterprises to prosper without the harassment, bullying, intimidation or acquisition that national and international corporate interests often bring to the neighborhoods.
Furthermore, a great number of politicians view the strength of top-tier corporate businesses as the foundation of the economy, discounting local businesses as mere footnotes, even if they say otherwise.
It is the duty of politicians within a democratic-republic to ensure that all peoples of the nation are able to thrive without the threat of harassment, intimidation and bullying from others.
Consideration of taxations should always benefit the less affluent. Those with greater affluencies are in a more stable position to support the nation. Revenues collected from the more affluent business enterprises and people is less of a burden to those affluent businesses and people.
With that consideration in mind, the use of Broad Scope Levies will allow local enterprises to better compete against bloated national and international companies. In applying higher rates to companies having broader reach across the nation and throughout the world, local businesses will have advantages that will help ensure their survival.
Such levies would be applied to companies directly providing products and services to areas beyond their Home Central County – the county their headquarter is within. Any company which functions beyond a single county, having allowances to provide deliveries and services to adjacent counties, pays a Broad Scope Company Levy. With this leveling effect, smaller companies will have more effective abilities to compete with larger widespread companies.
Broad Scope Companies are those that function fully within States, nationally or internationally. State Companies (those that function only within a state, not having national or international reach) pays 3% on their gross income of the company if any part of the business directly provides products/services beyond their Home Central County.
For companies that are considered National Companies (those having reach beyond one state), 6% is applied. International Companies (any company that has trade beyond the nation) would have a Broad Scope Levy of 9% applied.
Revenues gained from this levy would be distributed in equal parts to Congressional Digressionary Funds and Civil Retirement-Insurance Fund (further explanations forthcoming).
A company is considered Broad Scope if they directly distribute products and services beyond their root and adjacent counties around their home office (even if across the border into another Province). This includes charitable activities, seminars, etc. If they have offices, outlets, shops, or such in more than one county, they are considered Broad Scope. Distribution companies purchasing or transporting goods other counties is Broad Scope, though the company they purchase goods from are not so by that sale. Entertainers (such as musical bands) are subject to this levy should they perform in more than one County.
Though this may entice the government to support larger companies for the higher revenue, Congress and agencies may not enact legislation or regulation that would benefit larger companies and must always favor smaller companies, providing greater protection to smaller enterprises, helping families hold there private ownership.
For accounting simplicity and favoring smaller local companies, the entire income of the company is subject to the levy if they provide any service/product beyond the Home Central County.
This does not apply for sales to person going to them from other counties, even if they purchased the product for resale elsewhere. That company maybe subject to the levy, though. Deliveries through the national mail services would also not be subject to the Broad Scope Levy, though private national delivery services would. These policies, again, are to benefit the peoples of the nation, not corporate interests.
Taxation Deductions:
Deductions have the means to be corrupted and no amount of legislation will be able to alleviate such corruption. All deductions in all taxations must be eliminated for the balancing of taxation-levies. All deductions have always benefited the more affluent than those with lesser means.
Those with greater means are always in a better position to support the nation. And, it is in the best interest of everyone that those of lesser means be given the resources to thrive before they stumble and fall.
For the Broad Scope Levy to function, no deductions can be applied. As with all other taxations, allowing any deduction whatsoever would corrupt balancing effect, allowing the more affluent companies to escape paying their revenue duty to the support of the nation.
Even deducting interest rates on loans allows banks and corporate interests to skirt around paying taxes in support of the nation, transferring the burden of national support to those who do not have the deductions available – and those are most often the less affluent.
Let’s reconsider what is considered a loophole and know that every deduction is a loophole.
Robber Baron Tycoons:
National and international companies (businesses having reach throughout the entire nation or operating in several nations) have become a considerable force for politicians to bridle.
If they don’t take control of the unrestrained, gluttonous and brutal nature of national and international companies, the second Robber Baron Age will progress even further, and the peoples of the population will be victimized.
Broad Scope Levy Concept:
The Broad Scope Levy concept has been first presented in the Cascadia Campaign Environment of Universal Tales, and in-person role-playing platform being developed by Galaxy Frontiers.
