Elevated Concepts to Guide Societies and People towards Social & Economic Synergy.
Elevated Concepts to Guide Societies and People towards Social & Economic Synergy.
Taking sides is a simple matter, though few would admit two such simplicity. Being in crowds gives a sense of unity and those on either side have mobs of people chanting the same rhetoric: “We’re correct and you on the other side are wrong and must be taught what is correct.”
No matter what side you’re on; that statement applies and gathering in mobs is a simple thing. All you have to do is accept and express the rhetoric.
On the other hand, what happens when you know both sides are in error and you can’t in good conscious say the rhetoric? Now you’re between the proverbial rock and hard place, and both sides think you’re wrong.
Since polarizing sides are not clear of reasoning – even if both sides think they are – there’s barely a chance the mobs will listen to compelling evidence. They are caught in the social web of peer-pressure, and like members of other social cult-clubs, each person would lose status should they see truth and reason, stepping from the mobs they found past comfort in.
Social cult-clubs come in all forms and most all persons within them don’t view their association as a cult-club, nor do those in conflict with other cult-clubs have the capacity to see similarities between cult-clubs or the damage they themselves are inflicting on society. Nonetheless, those of any mob-oriented social cult-club must realize their resistance to reason is damaging to society.
~ ~ ~
How do you know you’re in a mob-oriented social cult-club?
If you would lose relations with friends and family members who are part of the same group when you leave the group; you are associated with a social cult-club.
If other members pressure you for not attending gatherings, meetings or congregations; you are in a social cult-club.
If others of the group feel you betrayed them and the group because you contradict the rhetoric; you are part of a social cult-club.
~ ~ ~
It is comforting to be part of a social cult-club. You have friends and family who support your way of thinking, as long as that manner of thought is aligned to what is considered ‘normal and proper.’
What happens when you realize that manner of thinking has been flawed from the inception and you become entwined in a clinging web, and you find yourself pulled along the mob-heard.
Where do you go when that ‘normal and proper’ doesn’t make sense and reasoning shows the masses of the social cult-club are being led by a few who understand how to manipulate mob-rule behavior?
The simple answer is you either continue accepting your position as a puppet-pawn of the group, taking social benefits from such association; or break free to forge new ground. Breaking free will put you on the outside, even if you step beyond proverbial rocks and hard places.
Being social creatures, we have innate desire to be with those of like manners and views. This is natural and may foster great strengths within societies, as long as it doesn’t create conflicts with other groups. Being with people having truly harmonious manners is not the same as having association with mob-oriented cult-clubs.
Again, there are considerable benefits of social cult-clubs as long as they are not mob-oriented that builds conflicts with other groups of peoples.
Problems arise when groups of people see themselves as wholly superior to others, pressuring members into conflictive situations with other groups. This creates the ‘Us and Them’ attitude that is damaging to societies.
Also, when pressures are applied to those stepping away from any social cult-club, great stresses are placed on people wishing separation, often resulting in long hardships. This is usually inflicted when the reduction of membership becomes a financial loss to the leadership of such cult-clubs.
Beyond hardships on individual people, this becomes a problem for society, as well as other wishing to step away from such associations. The self-feeding, peer-pressure mechanism of mob-oriented social cult-clubs builds into a frenzy and is detrimental to all societies.
On the other hand, since people need each other and tend to collect in social gatherings, social grouping is beneficial for those involved. That is why a few take advantage within groups to further their personal positions, even wealth.
Again, problems occur when people within groups start hating other groups of people, believing those other people are wrong in their thinking or have built a perception other peoples are taking resources owed to those within ‘normal and proper’ behavior.
Guidance quickly becomes domineering authority by many and is even a natural trend. However, authority must be presented with reasoning that benefits all unique peoples, and people must understand the need for reasonable guidance and authority, as well as harmonious interrelations of the population. This takes education, tolerance and appreciation for many views, as well as the understanding of true history and sciences.
Those having reasoning beyond constrictive social cult-clubs – and willing to stand between conflicting mobs to convey peaceful resolution – are between proverbial rocks and hard places, though some have to stand there and convey better paths.
Better paths are never easy and are often hard to view. It’s simple to see a way to selfish gains – especially when there are others on such paths. This is how mob-oriented social cult-clubs take hold.
It is even harder to convey benefits for everyone, since most people fear others will gain more for less effort. Why wouldn’t this concept be seen? Throughout history, many people have gained more than others without as much effort.
It’s hard to give credit to others for the effort they present, or to those acting for the benefit of others, especially if it doesn’t help you directly.
Those standing between conflicting rocks and hard places are not reaping benefits. They wish to see harmony in the lands and for people and harmonious social cult-clubs to live peacefully side by side.
In standing between those in conflict, presenting reasoning, is not only hard, it is dangerous. Conflicting mobs – the proverbial ‘rocks and hard places’ – are fueled against the other sides, and those in between are in the way of their anger.
Standing between rocks and hard places set those people at odds with both sides, yet if they are not there, the two mobs have no route to reason. Those on either side had lost reason in their anger and hatred of the other side.
To gain social harmony, both sides must understand their role in the division, as well as view what the other side had been thinking, and see how they were all at fault.
Though it is easy to see the faults of others who think differently, it is the inner perspective that is most important.
Why do you think you’re manner is ‘normal and proper’ and those of the other side are in error?
~ ~ ~
There are solutions to conflicts, though it requires considerable effort in seeing reason over rhetoric.
A prominent voice within a televised cult-club presented hardships as a view of a long night that continues with no seeming changes throughout the darkness from dusk to dawn. He stressed that no matter how long the darkness may seem, the sun will rise.
Well, unless a meteor blasts the planet to smithereens, or the sun supernovas and vaporizes the orbiting material, yes; the sun will generally rise. However, this is not to say the night is the same one hour to the next.
If you listen to his rhetoric and think he is ‘normal and proper’ and not consider reason, you will be led down a false path.
There are many signs throughout the night that time is passing, and long before the horizon lightens and the sun rises, there are transitional periods.
On clear nights, the transition of the stars will tell you the night is passing at a regular pace. If the moon rises that evening, following it across the sky, you will see when the middle of the night occurs. If the moon is full, the middle of the night generally sees the moon at its highest in the sky.
There are other signs the night is passing at a regular pace. Even if we as sapient humans do not see as well as birds in the ultraviolet range, we can feel that difference within us. Those who have spent nights feeling nature knows the transition. One can even listen to the birds and no the transition from late evening to early morning. All you have to do is listen and feel the environment around you.
The one that said nights are the same from beginning to end is instilling conflict, even though he claims to strive verbally for peace and tranquility. What he truly strives for is personal profits he enjoyed for decades, having learned his deceptive craft from his father.
His family has prospered in their constrictive social cult-club presentation through manipulation, steering people from historical and scientific reasoning. Having grown beyond his father before him, he takes considerable ‘donations’ for the comforting words that he presents as any well-spoken snake oil charlatan of the past has done.
That deceiver, his father, as well as many in his family, has created boundaries of rocks and hard places. His rhetoric – as well as rhetoric from those like him – twists or rejects reason for deceptive rhetoric that presents comforting guidance for the gullible.
Many ask what is the problem with presenting comforting guidance. Who is harmed by such presentations? In short, a great many people – especially those gullible to believe in rhetoric over reason.
Presenting comforting words without verifiable reason is dangerous and each person needs to be aware of deceivers who present comfortable bits of guidance without understanding of history, nature and science. In rejecting truths of science as inconvenient continues the deception, steering people away from true solutions that can bring harmony to the societies and all unique populations.
~ ~ ~
Defending against mob-oriented social cult-clubs is a hard path, especially when faulty concepts are presented as genuine and authentic.
Discussing false presentations presented in other groups often leads to conflicts. Even discussing true errors of reasoning brings forth disagreement. Such errors and faults include adjusting historical facts to give false representation; denying science because of inconvenient results; manipulating statistics to gain false narratives; applying assumptions of social rhetoric because of deep-rooted philosophical rhetoric and much more.
To bridge this apparent contradiction of hypocrisy; one must understand the purpose of the correction. If one is correcting an error based on historical and scientific principles, then the correction is showing the public what is actually the truth. If one is presenting rhetoric as factual without truly historical and scientific evidence, then one is pressing mob-oriented social cult-club view that pressures conflict.
In all mob conflicts, both sides are at fault and many reject harmonious reason for their own personal gain, bringing people along to foster their own greater prosperity.
In all mob conflicts, both sides are at fault. Only when people see their own faults and role within conflicts, are we as a collective of unique people be able to find harmony in all societies.
We must all strive for harmonious, tranquil existence with other groups of unique peoples.
We are social creatures and gather in groups. Harmonious social cult-clubs – differing from mob-oriented social cult-clubs – can prosper for the benefit of others within communities. However, such congregations would not be harmonious, if people continue viewing their personal beliefs as ‘absolute normal and proper’ for all persons to follow.
Though science is absolute – including evidence of history and evolution – social behaviors are less definitive. Being less definitive, alluring speakers can twist and manipulate crowds into frenzies that advance the speaker’s agenda, position and prosperity – often at the expense of everyone else.
To prevent being manipulated by the selfish, each person must see rhetoric and agendas for what they are. We all must honor the efforts of those who are truly making societies better for all unique peoples.
~ ~ ~
People must recognize the efforts of others, giving them their due. Honor those with clear reasoning and tangible efforts, not those speaking comforting words without substance.
Beware of people presenting comforting words that give speakers their selfish gains they crave. Honor those who present tangible effort for the betterment of all unique peoples within societies and communities with little regard to their own gains. Less selfish people do exist, even in this present, selfish environment.
It is easy to take from others, even to convince others in words that they are worth their value. As you observe selfish people, see that their actions and efforts are beyond their words, and reject those who speak in luring manner, yet unable to present tangible results of their words.
It is difficult to be consistent and productive. Each of us must be consistent in our efforts and the productivity of our efforts are to be rewarded.
Each of us must be aware of presenting words inconsistent with one’s own actions. In showing understanding of reason to others, as well as consistency of effort and harmonious presentations to resolve conflicts within communities, we could all foster better societies for the well-being of all unique peoples.

Favoritism is a natural behavior with dark sides needing tempering. Each of us are partial to friends, family and love ones. It’s a way to build durable companionship, strengthening viable futures for each involved. In building such bonds, tribes are formed.
No matter how many reject the tribes, people build them every time they group together with common interests. They could attach any term they wish, though at the root, they’re forming tribes.
Many call the Republican-Democrat divide tribalism, indicating that people are forming tribes.
There are dark sides to this tendency, manifesting when people decide other ways and people are not worthy of their uniqueness. Since partiality excludes those who are not part of the tribe, resentment builds when groups are not afforded the same level of opportunities.
If they are not part of the ‘commonality’ of your tribe, they are considered outsiders and don’t deserve opportunities.
Each group works to grow their prosperity – often at the expense of other people. Excluding people due to differences creates division, though this is common – even by those demanding equality. [see Bipolar Societies for the ‘Us and Them’ behavior so prevalent in the early Twenty First Century.]

Many organizations are exclusive, though some have been forced to be more inclusive while others still hold distinctive memberships. Girls have pushed themselves into the Boy Scouts of America (now known as Scouts BSA), seeing it as unfair they were excluded. Even with the inclusion, some troops are exclusively for girls within Scouts BSA.
For many obvious reasons, boys (unless identifying themselves as girls) are not allowed in the Girl Scouts of America. There are reasons for such exclusion, though it highlights biases permeating through all the peoples. No matter how it’s justified, exclusions come down to biases, with people rejecting others for their differences.
~ ~ ~
In discussing social relations, one must accept their own biases, realizing each and every person comes to conversations with a variety of biased views and ambitions.
When one becomes offended by someone else’s biases, they often declare bigotry. A good number of people believe ‘bigotry’ is restricted to the exclusion of a group of people due to their complexion. In doing so, the dialogue of social relations become tainted and limited, favoring a group of people.
Simply put; biases that any person possesses is bigotry, no matter how it’s justified. When expressing favoritism and bias, one is expressing bigotry.
As harsh as that sounds, it happens each and every day. Every time a person criticizes the length of guys hair, that person is presenting biases and bigotry.
If a woman’s skirt is seen as too short, it is showing bias and bigotry.
If a woman is criticized for showing too much cleavage or for being considerably buxom, one is showing bias and bigotry.
If one remarks, ‘Would it kill the guy to wear a tie,’ bias and bigotry is shown. Does the tie make a masle a man?
Discriminatory remarks about any attire – whether seen as foreign or strange – bias and bigotry is being expressed.
When declaring the need for restorations regarding slavery while ignoring the atrocities inflicted on American Natives; favoritism, bias and bigotry is applied.
If one criticizes a person for being heavy, one is showing bias and bigotry.
This behavior goes on and on, and on.

As most writers and politicians will say; words matter. Declaration of standards creates biases and bigotry, and it all comes with words and phrases.
‘Is that a woman or a man?” the singer asks, implying the musician had long hair and it offended a number of people.
Selection of words is tricky when conveying concepts, especially when critics are quick to press their own biases and agendas on situations for their own advancement.
It’s becoming more difficult to speak and write without critics ripping at each phrase, applying their own biases and bigotry. Even this article will be picked apart by people, each critic making bias opinions of the meaning.
The meaning of this article is that people need to cease finger-pointing as a means to elevate their own advancement, prestige and influence at the expense of others.
When a person ridicules another – instead of seeking beneficial qualities others have – critics are fueling discord and division.
Each person expecting others to capitulate to standards associated with what those individuals hold dear, those persons are pressuring their own individual biases on others, instigating discord and division.
Critics to this and other Arinorin articles may say, “This author is pressuring an agenda of their own. Well – yes; there is truth of that. As stated earlier, each and every person brings biases and agendas to the conversation.
Even Thomas Jefferson had biases and agendas. What he did was express them in words, hoping people would find wisdom and adopt the best he had to offer. His presentations are different from the criticisms most people present. Since most people criticize others for their own personal gain, and not for the benefit of all unique peoples, they differ from what Thomas Jefferson was saying. He tried writing to benefit all peoples, even if others corralled his meaning and he ultimately succumbed to pressures.
Most people criticize others to elevate their own meager status to greater heights than their minor contributions would allow under more balanced recognition. If true tangible effort – not promises – were considered in balance, others would get higher recognition. The Meager Majority would not be elevated.

When it comes to accusations of blunders and implied wrongdoing, each person should look closely at why they themselves are being so critical of others – especially if they are imperfect.
Will those same critics present their own faults and blunders with as much zeal – or justify the criticism of others under the guise of creating a better society? Are they using such guise as means to belittle others for their own progression? Or – are they pointing fingers at others to distract from faults they themselves have?
Few will honestly scrutinize one’s own actions, though are quick to place their biased views on others. What is clear, is the pressure they put on others, imposing their own favoritism and agendas, elevating their own self-worth and position over others, even if they lack tangible contribution of their own [see Me Absolute]. Critics are quick to cut others down in order to elevate their own self-worth.
~ ~ ~
Critical phrases used to denounce anyone for the sake of elevating their own self-worth is quite common in this modern age. ‘Is that a woman or a man?’ ~ ‘Put on a tie; it’s professional.’ ~ ‘Don’t eat hamburgers; vegetarian diets are superior.’
It’s easy to accuse others of demeaning behavior, even racism, when someone is blocking your path. However, is the blockage based on actual bigotry, or are they just striving for limited positions, and competition demands the person to act out by any means possible?
The answer to that question produces another dialogue for social growth. [See Bipolar Societies.]
~ ~ ~
Are ridicules and critiques aimed at others a means to cut the other person to shreds in order for the accuser to appear superior and righteous?
It’s easy to level accusations and criticisms for self elevation. The Forty Fifth U.S. President made this behavior his signature strategy.
Applying bias-based accusations fuel discord, making it harder to bring all unique peoples together in peaceful, harmonized coexistence.
Each of us have differences that makes us unique. Let people stop ridiculing others for self gain and worked to bring all unique peoples together. Let us all recognize the qualities of each person – no matter who they are.
Also re member; no person has the time to listen to each and every dispute. Talk amongst yourselves about who has favorable qualities and promote those qualities, elevating the worthy.
Don’t assume that if a person strives for greatness, they must be against you personally, or they hold some bigotry within them to hold you down. Though, there are many who would, so each person needs to be viewed with balanced perception.
Each unique person has their own desires, striving for expression, acceptance and prosperity. Don’t begrudge them those desires, though ensure they have tangible contributions to praise – not promises.
Integrating others having tangible qualities and contributions enables everyone to share in prosperity based on their quantifiable abilities.
Judge tangible qualities fairly. Don’t assume if a quality is different than your view, it has to be false and not worthy of attention.
Also, ensure contributions are not rehashing prior applications. It is common for people to repackage efforts of others as their own.
Since we all build on the works of others, ensure the building is truly unique and substantial enough to be their own, not just repackaging someone else’s work under a new label. A considerable number of people have done so, including the Forty Fifth U.S. President.
Each person must present their own tangible accomplishments, showing their true qualities – not just declaring promises or claiming the effort of others as their own.
Also, don’t force mediocrity on others or the society by cutting people down with criticism that is self-serving and a means for elevating oneself over others without actual tangible qualities to contribute.
Show your own tangible accomplishments without excuses, as well as respect the tangible achievements of others. Praise others for their tangible qualities instead of demeaning them as a means to raise one’s own self-worth.
~ ~ ~
When thinking of bringing criticism to others, consider your motivations and what you bring to conversations and dialogue. Does the criticism make the other person better, or are you attempting to degrade that person in order to elevate your own status within society or to impress friends, family and loved ones?
If a person deserves elevation, do so. Let your own tangible qualities and contribution speak of your social worth. When complementing others for their worth, do so without attaching conditions, such as, ‘That person does well, however, I can do better if given a chance.’ [See Me Absolute.]
Only if each person recognizes the best in others, will we grow from the fuming discord permeating through these societies.
Let’s recognize that each unique person has qualities they bring to societies and worked at harmonizing those unique qualities in a chorus. Ensure that criticisms elevates worthy persons to higher levels – not applying means to demean them for one’s own self gratification.
Applying efforts to elevate worthy people of societies – not just your self and those like you – creates grander societies. If we honor the tangible qualities of others, all communitie s and societies will be stronger, and all unique peoples would benefit. This also goes for Democrats and Republicans, as well as other political parties.
~ ~ ~
If one finds themselves criticized for expressing concepts, consider what the critic brings to the discourse, dialogue and conversation.
If critics are applying criticism as a form of self-elevating bias, question that person’s motivation. Ask, “What is it you find offensive?” ~ “Is this outcry due to your own biases and prejudices against me?” ~ “What do you expect to gain from the criticism?” ~ “Are you criticizing my effort in order to be demeaning as a way to elevate your own status in society at my expense?”
Favoritism and partiality is a natural manner. However, if it is applied to destroy other worthy persons for one’s self gratification and position, all societies suffer. Such behavior creates discord and division, a trend that festers into greater conflicts.
Let each of us work to create harmonious existence of all unique peoples within communities across the societies.

Most people’s tangible accomplishments are minor when truthfully compared to other people. Very few bring fresh contributions to societies and most of them are ripped apart in order to maintain mediocrity. Such behavior allows the Meager Majority to see themselves as superior.
Most people rehash past failed attempts, believing they can do it better. That’s where the ‘reliving history’ adage becomes true.
The few who bring truly fresh contributions are often ripped apart by the Meager Majority.
Most people believe they can take similar actions done in the past, making them work out in the future. They believe they could make it better because they ‘saw the errors.’ More often, they blame others for the past failure, promising future greatness.
Many promises have been made to improve on past failures, and people are drawn into the belief, striking at others for having true innovation. Mostly, these people who rehash failed promises of the past are doing the same for their own glory – ensuring others cannot achieve prosperity for fresh ideas they themselves cannot manifest.
Such behavior is common amongst guild-unions, corporations, clergy and politicians. Such entities and peoples ridicule those of different ilk, ensuring Meager Majority hold to their false superiority.
Besides Meager Majority, there are the ‘Heisters’ –those who would claim the efforts of others for themselves often under the guise of ‘good management,’ claiming it was their ‘superior leadership’ that created the accomplishment.
Rejections, or heisting, of tangible accomplishments others provide allows the Meager Majority to continue their delusion of superior righteousness.
This may be a hard truth for many to swallow, though try doing it in smaller bites. Arinora is not about comforting people; it’s about finding truth in the universe, as well as adopting the best there is for the benefit of all unique peoples.
Let us work at achieving harmony within the societies for the benefit of all unique peoples.

Survey the rating of any film or show and one will see that we are allowing the viewing of violence and brutality to younger persons over the pleasures of affection. It is acceptable to lob off heads and present children murdering children – as long as blood isn’t spraying. However present affections more than a casual kiss and the rating increases considerably.
The American film-entertainment rating system further advances the acceptance of adventurous violence at the expense of affections. Though we’ve made progress, there is still a considerable ways to go.
In holding more acceptance of brutality at lower ratings, affections become seen as something to hide, mock or be embarrassed about. Consider the number of films and shows and how affection is treated – especially in the adventure genre – and it becomes apparent that there is a social disparity.
As presented in a documentary a few years ago, the rating system produces social limitations. More recently, there are a number of films and shows that have addressed this limitation, advancing broader view of social relations. In this broadening of social views, there are a few highly restrictive people still working to regress society.

Of late, considerable hope is given to the current youth of humanity and global citizens. Though there is still hope, lessons of the past must be recalled thoroughly.
The Hippie Movement of the 1960s was rejected when those hopeful youth became greedy during the 1980s, giving up on their broader sense of humanity.
What will the Early-21st Century Youth do by the time they become middle aged? We saw what happened to the idealistic youth of the Mid-20th Century. Since the 1980s, many of those idealistic Hippies have become part of the problem; and in their greed, they now strive for selfish endeavors, forgetting what it was they were fighting for in the past.
Those who failed to make true change in the past are now putting their hope on the next generation that are growing into maturity. Unfortunately, the Mid-21stGeneration not only failed in the political arena, they failed to raise their children with a sense of global decency. Instead, they instilled the greed they grasped in the 1980s onto them.
The youth of the Early-21st Century have become considerably more selfish, thinking their simple contribution to society is ‘Great.’
Unless the Early-21st Century Youth do better than they have been, we will have to give our hopes to the Mid-21stCentury Youth. The current generation moving into maturity have accepted the greedy, selfish endeavors of their parents.
Now we’re creating the Mid-21st Century Generation – those born around 2015 through these current times, destined to reach maturity in the 2040s. Unless we, as global societies, give them the insight and wisdom to do better – surrendering greedy, selfish ambitions to the annals of history – there is no hope.
As the lessons of the 1960s Hippie Movement, as well as subsequent rejection of enlightenment, has shown; we must not give up on the hope of better, greater societies for all unique peoples. We must grasped tight to the understanding of how we fit within the natural environment of Terra Earth and protect the wilderness, as well as unique societies and peoples.
We, as peoples of Terra Earth, must steer from the current course of selfish destruction and division within the societies, otherwise all hope is lost.

Most all – if not all – sociologists would agree that people, old and young benefit from social games. Personal interaction with people is important for social development and relations. When people isolate themselves from interacting with others, social disconnection and discord arises.
On occasion in early October, 2008, NWB received a series of short texts from a femella he did not know. Confused as to who it was, he called the associated number. The woman answered with, “What?” NWB stifled the desire to ask, “Is that any way to answer a call?” Instead, he explained, “I received a text from you.” Without warning, she hung up, then sent a text message stating; ‘I must’ve gotten the wrong number.’ That became clear, though she could have said so on the phone since they were connected. Clues within the brief text statements made NWB think the femella was a student, wishing to compare study notes with someone.
That is a mere example of the lack of social interaction arising from the dependability on texting as their primary means of communication. In losing oneself through texting, people lose social protocols and decency. The way that person answered the phone is an example of the lack of social connect ability that gaming in person can help resolve. A bit of education on proper etiquette would also help.
The growing trend of people isolating their interactions to omnivices (multimedia devices) and computers disassociate them from the fabric of society and they lose the continuity of relations.
Social games – neighborhood softball, soccer, board games, poker, chess, checkers, hide-and-seek, kick the can, even tiddlywinks – allows for in-person interaction. Such interactions is important for social adjustment and cooperation, and games help strengthen the social bonding.
As a response letter in scientific America expressed, the common acceptance of rules in those and other games brings people to interact in social manners. The letter also pointed out the ability to cheat with omnivice-computer games without social implication shapes a person’s behavior to believe they are able to do so throughout their lives. They even come to believe they should cheat in order to be more successful than others.
Such people will likely be successful, but it is at the expense of decency and we see that problem growing more each week. With more and more people losing touch with social decency, problems within the society are growing more disruptive and will only become worse.
It’s not just the lack of playing social games in person. The simple behavior of losing oneself within any electronic device deprives a person of social interaction and bonding.
Much has been said about disconnection of people due to such devices. If you’re one of those who find themselves spending a lot of time relating to others through omnivices, take a couple minutes and look around the lunch room at work or school – or even at home – and observe how many are lost in their tiny little world with people around them doing much the same.
There was an observation of four youthful men at a food court. For nearly an hour, the four were observed not exchanging any form of dialogue, even though they were sitting at the same table. Each was texting and reading from their omnivices. Eventually, they got up and departed. The entire time they were sitting, even when they were walking away, no conversation was observed and they were interacting only with the devices. Possibly; they were conducting their own social experiment and was waiting for someone to ask them about their behavior – though no one did.
The disconnection in this lack of social interaction has lethal consequences. There are many reasons why violence is escalating throughout the United States as well as the world, though more and more evidence is pointing to this lack of social bonding that games could help resolve.
What must be done to help people reacquaint themselves with others?
There are simple solutions, though it would require people to gather together in pleasant, civil conversation away from their media devices. Each person must realize omnivices should not be there primary means of communication with people.
When conversing with people – and one should do so in person if at all possible – don’t let the media devices be distracting. Be with the person you’re with and not let the devices pull you away.
If not able to be in person, converse with them through the phone option on the omnivice. Much is lost through texting. It is amazing how people lose touch with others through texting.
How much social games themselves could correct this growing problem will only be settled if people start interacting in social play. That will require getting off the omnivices and computers for a period of time to socially interact with other people in person.
Always understand that the media devices are tools and decent social etiquette, whether in person or on the phone, is a valued commodity one should embrace.

A desire for a broader concept within the political arena of the United States is thwarted by the established bipartisanship that had evolved and still clutches the authority. Unfortunately, this is a natural trend that society has to actively steer from.
The divisiveness of the bipartisan environment in the United States has been a considerable problems for generations. In order to reunite the populations that have drifted apart, people must first acknowledge that a better solution can be achieved, if we stop blaming other people for the problems in our society.
Proceed to the Bipolar Societies page for a few thoughts on the delegation-electoral process and a few possibilities for a less disruptive and more collective political process.

MediaGens – generational persons raised, or entrapped, by mind numbing effect of omnivices (multimedia devices) – have lost the sense of social interaction and companionships to the draw of constant stimulation.
More guidance and research is needed to help curtail the volatility related to becoming engulfed by the lure of omnivices – the so-called smart phone.
Though it’s been stated the rash of violent outbreaks may not be directly linked to such devices, it is clear antisocial behavior does arise from such engulfing use of omnivices.
In the past, personal interaction video and role-playing games were criticized for violent content. However, simply looking at the trend to violent outbursts shows no connection to such activities. A major difference between what games of the past and the isolating effect of omnivices is that personal interaction.
Anyone believing texting, tweeting or otherwise interacting most of their time on social media formats – rather than in-person or phone conversations – are entrapped in an antisocial environment brought about by such devices.
Omnivices are a tool that can benefit people, as long as they do not distract from the needs of social interaction, their vocations and personal relations.
If you find yourself with people and you’re using omnivices instead of talking with those around you, your a multimedia addict and subject to outbreaks from such mind numbing engulfment with the devices.
If you find yourself checking omnivices while talking with people, you’re distracted and are not fully engaged with those around you.
If you find yourself upset at people not texting you before calling, even being upset at visits, your addiction to the multimedia device is drawing you further away from personal relations.
Also, creativity is loss with the entrapment of the omnivices. Creativity requires a free mind and multimedia devices pulls the mind into distraction. A creative mind needs to flow free in order to elevate the inner thoughts. Though concepts may be derived from media through omnivice tools, hours away from the distractions such devices create are needed for true creativity.
Vocations can also suffer, should people become distracted by the omnivices and not pay attention to their environment.
Look around. People are lost in their devices. After recognizing those people who are distracted by their devices, contemplate your usage with an honest view, realizing you are likely a multimedia addict.
If the device is not just a tool to join you to other people for device-free relations, then you are using the device as a crutch, becoming antisocial.
Put those devices away. It is not enough to just set them down.
The devices must only be a tool to make your life better. They must never become a distraction. Omnivices are used more and more as distractions from perceived hardships of life.
It is easy to become engulfed in the ‘convenience’ of such multimedia devices, the so-called smart phone, losing sense of relationship with other people – even feeling they are persecuting you personally.
If there are true hardships in one’s life, omnivices are not the cure. Such devices are often part of the problem.
Just as people ingest pain relievers to suppress physical discomforts, instead of seeking true remedies for the cause of the discomfort – something physicians referred to as ‘treating the symptoms’ – distracting oneself with multimedia devices does not bring remedy to the causes of one’s hardships.
To remedy life’s hardships, one must become proactive in finding solutions. Being social animals, those solutions are usually found in true relationships – not the perceived relations that arise from omnivices.
Multimedia devices is only a distraction, and those distractions prevent people from social interactions. They also distract from paying attention to their vocation, or from seeking assistance with their lives.
Becoming lost from surrounding environments and nearby people, tension rises from lack of social relationships. That distracted tension leads to volatility.
Always remember; omnivices are tools – nothing more. Put away such devices for several hours at a time and fully engage socially with people around you. Talk and learn from people. Truly engage with people with out such devices around.
If you leave devices well out of the environment, you will notice how others are distracted by them, causing them to ignore you within the relation. If you are not distracted by the mind numbing devices, you will notice how people are lost to you.
Also remember; information and videos found through media-line channel can be informative, though more often deceptive, leaving to false understandings. Many articles and videos will discount realities. Consider the amount of information presented to discount evolution, the makeup of the universe (like the promotion of flat Earth views) and global warming.
Verify information through many credible sources. Such sources are available, though make sure they are truly credible – having data driven information and peer review evaluations.
Also ensure the agenda of the sources. Realize each person has biases and desires, and their perspective reflects that. That goes for the author of this article as well.
The bias, desire and agenda of the author of this article stems from the number of friends lost through the texting nature of omnivices. A great number of friends had said, “Just give me a text. I’m too busy to talk on the phone.”
That antisocial behavior creates a detachment from society, building volatility and anger.
There are many opinions on the subject. Each perspective is helpful in growing a broader view of societies and the universe, as well as those living in the layers of our environment.
Set aside the devices and be with people. Think beyond the devices and see those around you as relations. Talk with them. Don’t become lost by the mind numbing effects of omnivices. Such loss of social relation leads to volatility, frustration, anger and outbursts that often results in deaths.
Be kind to each other. Gather with people with device-free relationships. Communities have lost the social interactions in a commercial or agenda driven environments – such as shopping malls and church-temples.
Communities must form non-pressured places to gather, allowing people to socialize naturally with out the pressures of commercial or agenda driven environments. Town squares with non-fee interior spaces must be available for people to gather and socialize.
It is understood that many of such open forums have become a gravity force for the disenfranchised people of society – the alcoholics, homeless and such. Those people need an avenue for assistance and regrowth into the society free of agenda pressures. That is a subject for another article, though related to solutions for the growing volatility of society that is stemming from devices.
Re-creating society into a broader acceptance and caring environment is not an easy matter, though must take place if we are to curtail a trend towards volatility that is leading to greater and greater loss of lives through the disconnection of people.
Understand the role of each person’s distraction with their media devices and one can see how this leads to the disturbing trend we see around us.
Don’t take this article as absolute knowledge. It is not presented as such. Put away your omnivices and take hours, even days, to relate and talk with people. If you do so, there’s a good chance you would see the effects such devices are having on people. You would see how they are distracted from you – as you were distracted by your own devices.
As theaters request that devices are put away and turned off so the enjoyment of everyone viewing the presentation are not disturbed, ensure social relations are not disturbed by the devices.
Turn them off and put them away for a time. You can always come back to them later to check a few things.
More time should be spent in non-distracted relations than on the devices. If your devices are not out of reach most of the time, you may be more of a problem than a solution.
A discussion on the subject with a friend on the phone led to that person relating a song by Simon & Garfunkel.
For the record, him and I talk regularly on the phone. Yes, that discussion was on the phone, not as a media device. We talk on the phone because the friend lives hundreds of miles away in another state and could not be seen in person.
As for the song mentioned; decades ago, Sound of Silence was released regarding the distraction of people and how it was disturbing societies. That song may be more pertinent to our present day situation than it was when it was released. ‘Silence, like a cancer, grows.’
Every time you sit amongst people, and each are lost in your omnivices, you are in silence – and like the cancer mentioned in the song, that silence spreads and grows.
For decades, people have been warning about this antisocial distraction of media devices – even if they didn’t have such devices in the past. Are we going to allow people to numb their minds; or are we going to strive for a broader inclusion of unique peoples and be the social creatures we are?
Let us not forget our social nature, letting us remember that societies need a considerable number of unique persons. Homogenization of people limits the unique nature and creativity of the population.

For many since the 1970s, longevity has become something to despise – especially when it comes to viewing other people. In the ‘Me Absolute’ environment of the early Twenty-First Century, people are less inclined to accept the value of other over themselves.
In this attitude, anyone beyond themselves having tenure is in their view corruptible. They further feel, that anyone who has been in a place for a lengthy period of time is seen as stagnant. Such people discount the true nature of experience, as well as how long it takes to gain such experience.
Stability and longevity takes a backseat in this ‘Me Absolute’ environment. Stability and longevity is desired, though not acceptable in others by those striving for personal superiority – or those seeking to pressure people into conforming towards their way of thinking.
Tenure became targeted by dissatisfied people, with such views as, “Those with tenure can’t be fired? That’s not fair.” ~ “They can just fiddle the day away, slacking when others have to perform.” ~ “We have to force them to be productive. They can’t just nurse an income without doing what I think they should be doing.”
When people discount tenure, they’re saying every person should be fired for not conforming to their way of viewing societies. They would remove abilities tenure persons have to challenge preconceptions, allowing those without tenure to force conformity to their way of thinking.
This behavior forces capitulation of conformity on populations, causing further constraints on enlightenment and diversity. Tenure enables the fostering of true enlightenment.
The nature of tenure in universities allows the person stability to pursue studies generally considered too controversial for others to pursue.
There may be many reasons for people to disagree with the tenure process, including their feeling that the research are too disturbing for critics. There are also those without status who wish higher position without taking the time to earn seniority, claiming ‘Founder’s Syndrome’ (not to be confused with Founder Effect). They may also view those of tenure are lazy, not having to worry about being fired.
The nature of tenure can apply well beyond universities.
Considerable research has shown that anxiety of employment insecurity lessens productivity. The threat of being removed from position not only creates hostile environment – where people are highlighting the faults of others in order for themselves to look better – the over all enjoyment of the workplace diminishes. Heightening anxiety is unhealthy for everyone.
Removing tenure status has been a call from many, seeing tenure practice as flawed. It is the call for the removal of tenure that is faulty.
Threat of being fired forces capitulation, fear and hostility – even when the need to speak out is necessary. Fear of being removed still keeps people silent, preventing the challenging of authority and policy. Those in tenure positions can speak for those who are silent without fear of losing their position. This enables them to challenge authority and policy when necessary.
Those without tenure have to be concerned with being removed, no matter how misguided authorities might be. In capitulating, they strengthen corrupt authority in fear of losing their own position.
Early Twenty-First Century has seen a great deal of capitulation – or remain silent when one should speak out – because of fear of losing position. Those insecure in position would often think, It is better to remain quiet, then disturb my position by speaking out against the wrongs corporate industry has put upon people.
This goes beyond universities and corporate environments. In governance and politics, the constant election cycles for positions creates a constant campaign environment with considerable costs and deception.
Instilling higher threshold of elected criteria for occupied positions, those in government positions would be able to withstand fickle nature of the population and higher authorities. Though this is not true tenure status, it does produce higher level of assurances.
If the seated politicians or appointees were secure enough to know they would not be removed by fickle tendencies of populations – or persons at the top of the Executive Branch – they would not waste valuable time away from governance in order to campaign.
As an Arinorin-Cascadian view; to instill such confidence within elected governing position, any challengers would have to gain 15% of registered voters. If they are unable to gain at least 15% of such voters, then they are unworthy to become challengers in the first place. When they reach such a threshold, then the seated political person would be obliged to campaign for their position.
As a general election process, seated governance should not be dislodged at a smidge over 50% – a threshold that creates instability in the simplicity of achievement. No position that is occupied should be dislodged by anything less than two-thirds of registered voters.
In having such a threshold, the fickle nature of population would have less effect on the society, stabilizing the nature of societies for all unique peoples.
Limited elected politicians have to appear to be acting in the best interest of their constituents, doing so in order to gain financing for future votes.
In the same environment; government appointees must have the security to ensure they can abide by their conscience independent of the fickle nature of the population or higher executive governance.
Appointees should be nominated and selected through voting process within the Legislation Branch exclusively, with two-thirds Senator votes needed to replace a seated person. In doing so, each executive of government agencies and departments will have the confidence to withstand pressures from fickle heads of the Executive Branch.
At these higher election levels, the true confidence of position allows stability – something that has been lacking for decades, even centuries.
Lifetime appointments has become seen as corruptible. The reverse is more true.
Those who have confidence in their position have the ability to ensure stability, weathering the undermining from others who would have them removed for their own personal gains.
Those who must worry about being released cannot stand up for others against tyrants. In fearing their position, most everyone remains silent in order to hold position. Those with tenure are able to be advocates for those having less influence on societies – even in corporate interest environments.
Instead of having stability to challenge the authority, those without tenure have to comply to authority or be released. Those having the courage to challenge authorities, often find their position and lives in jeopardy.
Because of this, few have courage to challenge authorities, not wishing to disrupt their livelihood, no matter how correct their critique of authority might be.
No one is without fault – not even yourself – and everyone has a reason to be released. It is a simple matter for authorities to find cause for dismissal when one is threatening those authorities. In not having the stability of secure position, the release of those who would challenge authority for the benefit of all unique peoples is a simple matter that happens each and every day.
Tenure strengthens society. In giving tenure status more freely, the vitality of societies would grow stronger and people would not be fearful of their position, enabling them to bring true enlightenment to societies.
For those having longevity, looking at retirement, having tenure ensures they will not be denied such benefits. Retirement is costly and corporate financing tends to pressure older persons out before proper retirement benefits would be presented. Even with more mobile retirement plans, this practice of dismissing those with longevity still harms the older generation.
Generally, those with longevity have higher income levels. Those higher wages and benefits are costly for corporate interests. Younger employees are cheaper and it is cost effective to remove older persons who have worked up to higher wages and benefits, replacing them with younger, cheaper people.
At times, guild-unions work to resist this practice. In doing so, guild-unions creates tenure positions, claiming to be acting in the interest of the workers. For the most part, this is true. Guild-union representatives can protect the release of persons by corporate authorities, though they do so only if it benefits them. That’s a subject for another article.
Whether universities, government positions or corporate employment, tenure has a viable function in societies.
It’s an easy matter to be upset at someone with tenure, believing others are gaining benefits you so richly deserve. However, let’s not discount the benefits of secure position in the pursuit towards destroying the livelihoods of other peoples for one’s own gain.
